As I stated when the rials were first started, and it's still my belief, OWCP filed for the trials with NIH/Clinicaltrials.gov as a foot in the door. OWCP never planned to do US trials with US participants, hence no participants in the US, but with the protocols that stand worldwide for drug testing, OWCP CAN do trials elsewhere and have them admissible in the US once the trials are completed and results are out.Regardless of where thye are done as long as they follow IRB protocol.
With Dr. Hirsch onboard and Ms. Sani familiar with regulatory issues, I am confident that OWCP will have a surprising 2018.
There are just so many pieces of the MMJ puzzle that must be fit together to have everything work out it is mind boggling.
Funny, but I have this feeling that it's like doing a large project around our houses. Decision is to start, check. Step one, check,.............step 25. Oh crap when will it be done. Step.........COOL, it's done and is fantastic.
It is my belief that with the leadership team we have, this is what we will see. Will it be by Jan. 1? Who cares. But it will happen.
Look at it this way, the psoriasis cream is the easiest to get to market. OWCP is taking that route to learn what is needed with the steps to market for their future products. I've participated in many endeavors launching something new. At the least, 2 months, with the most extensive, it took about 3 years. Not fun, but rewarding.
Yes, OWCP is doing what needs done, both behind the scenes and the latest patent approval.
Anyway, let's hope that OWCP takes it to the next level and has the review done which would result in a full patent. Me thinks it's going to happen. Dr. Hirsch is not on board for nothing.
Cheers
