Clearly the gangs DID know something.
As I posted earlier, it is very easy for the scum to hire a firm akin to the one that Weinstein hired, to investigate clinical trial results or other data. We KNOW that in clinical trials other companies have held, P.I.'s have gotten license plate numbers of people going into clinics, found their identities, and then monitored their social media for clues. I can't remember the name of the company now, but a P.I. found a FaceBook post from a a cancer patient who posted that she was feeling better and was glad that she was in the clinical trial.
So it wouldn't surprise me one bit to know that scumbags have ways of finding things out before honest people do.
