You and them over complicate it. Most of us watch sports to escape from daily tensions. One of them is politics. Why escape to the hell of politics bought to football. The next issue is the complete and total stupidity of the kneelers and NFL. If I own a store, why do I want to chase away maybe 30% of my customers?
The real main issuer is the arrogance and total stupidity of liberals thinking that they can protest and it won't hurt their fan base.
