Re: Bhawks #2542
Bhawks, you did not read my link. There is evidence in the past that the NFL did not allow protests, but now they backed off of it>>>

For years, fans have watched the NFL use the threat of fines and suspensions to shut down every form of self-expression. Players were not allowed to raise awareness for domestic violence or breast cancer; they were threatened if they dared suggest honoring slain police officers or even victims of the September 11 terror attacks.

Why change now.? Political correctness gone a muck.

The Mall of America is in my city. Them, and I can guess all the other malls don't allow any protest of any kind, or the police escort them out, If they refuse or come back they are arrested for trespassing.

Freedom of speech is one thing, but allowing millionaires to spit on the flag and protest the anthem at a football game is the owners directive, you are right. Why have they not? Political Correctness is basically the religion of the left being forced down societies throat and the owners by trying to be political correct are until now unknowingly turning a great American pastime into a political cesspool, . I have a feeling the owners will put a stop to it.. Trump is right on this one. Most of us watch sports to relax and get away from problems and societies problems.

And if the NFL ignores this , the ratings will really plummet next weekend.
