After years of holding this stock I want the quick rush of partnership money as much as anyone. I simply don't see your fear of the shelf/Aspire in the same light even if we use it as the primary funding vehicle. Dilution isn't really dilution if your valuation grows faster than the dilution rate.
I think what will actually happen is a combination of the two. A deal with a small upfront to get a little more cash and juice the stock to an up list. Then Aspire and the shelf will be tapped at much more favorable prices (much more attractive at $5) to do advanced trials.
Now, if Prurisol results are good enough to yield a $100M+ upfront we probably won't be worrying about it at all.
