Current theory is that it's an allergic reaction to an otherwise benign bacteria on the skin. An anti-inflammatory, antibiotic compound should work against it.
Let's see..... can anyone think of an anti-inflammatory antibiotic which has been mentioned as a possible treatment for HS? I wonder.
