An interesting point to note... Barco Monitors
Post# of 22454
Barco Monitors have been the industry standard for "Diagnostic Imaging" for Radiologists to "Diagnose directly form the display" and dictate observations and findings. FYI, 2015 the FDA Cited the VA Los Angeles and UCLA for Radiologists reading directly NOT from "BARCO or Equivalent displays. The Display Market for Diagnostic Imaging is an easier price point to meet for Samsung than trying to market to all of us and get them into your living room, unless , of course, money is of no object. Current state of the art Cath Labs, Angiography Suites, Cat Scanners and MRI's are all at the $1.5 Million to $3 Million per imaging socket. Additionally the size and format with current color gamut coupled with the resolution caught my attention. It would fit right in. The line rate or vertical refresh is no longer an issue.
