he Marine Corps announces the recovery of a third and final missing Marine, who was killed following an aircraft mishap in waters off the coast of Australia.
A statement said, the remains of 26 year old Captain Benjamin Cross were recently discovered, but officials did not specify a date.
His remains are now being transferred to Hawaii, joining Corporal Nathaniel Ordway and Lance Corporal Ruben Velasco, the other two marines who were killed in the crash.
The cause of the incident remains unclear, but the V-22 Osprey aircraft is said to have crashed shortly after takeoff from the USS Bonhomme Richard.
