On the PV vs. Hydrogen question I must point out

On the PV vs. Hydrogen question I must point out a great reason for the public to support the PV solution.
That great reason is that Distributed Generation of energy is (small d) democratic.
The hydrogen economy, though potentially much "greener" compared to today's petro-chemical system, still ties the consuming public to corporate dependency.
It doesn't really matter, speaking strictly/only of economic effects, what you pour into your "gashole", as long as you still have to buy it (of course at a profitable price-point) from an international corporation.
Contrast that to a world where the "little guy",with a modest investment can produce his own energy to use as he sees fit for his own benefit, and come out a few dollars ahead each day instead of contributing to the coffers of the elite.
Besides the environmental advantages, this empowerment (literally!) of the small consumer brought about by large scale adoption of PV and battery systems will be a large force to diminish economic inequality. This is to me,one of the major advantages of "driving on sunshine".
I suppose someday we could have back-yard scale hydrogen systems in the future, but with the "ka-boom" problem of pressurized hydrogen tech, the powers that be will happily cry "Safety first" to block it's adoption.
QTMM will profit either way, either through large scale PV hydrolysis hydrogen generation, or from PV-direct-to-battery transportation systems, but the social aspects of the latter make it my clear choice.
Blessings to all...
