There is a fundamental problem with the dismantlin

We don't just throw away Gettysburg!
My wifes family lived in Gettysburg, survive the war, and helped take care of the battle grounds and work in the museum all summer. What went on there, the history, the bravery and reaffirmation that there is a right and wrong, something worth fighting for, can not be dismantled, should not be dismantled.
But that is where we are headed I fear.
There were families split apart and fought against each other. Brothers killing brothers. You don't do that unless you believe in something.
We have no heros anymore.
No one who can lead it seems.
