i think that drop coincided with a lot of talk of the bitcoin split. Also, at the moment, we are under btcs shadow. because we are new, most buys have come through BTC and Korea.
if u have seen ripple's progression, they have recently began talking of xrp. it just now being adopted and soon to be actually used. when that happens we are no longer going to be attached to btc.
