The clinical trials database has trials that are done all over the world provided sufficient information is provided to support its publication. I disagree with the company's attitude that the trial is being done elsewhere, and they won't take patients from the U.S. so they haven't updated the trial information.
I've see other companies running trials exclusively outside the U.S. where they clearly stated where all the clinical sites were, and they updated the file to show when they were enrolling patients, when it was fully subscribed, and when it concluded.
In our case, I believe the only trial site is Sheba, and I would hope that the trial has been fully enrolled for some time, though I believe that dropouts may have delayed the conclusion of the trial. I believe the trial is being done with protocols that have our FDA approval, even though the trial was never intended to be run here.
