From the discussions, our cream would be sold by prescription in Germany, does this mean an approval by the German equivalent of our FDA will be sought after, and gained in the next 9 months or less. Our FDA certainly cannot be moved at that speed, I find it hard to believe the German's can.
If in reality Mediq is doing the trials, and paying for them, then Mediq is the sort of partner that OWCP was talking about in discussions in the 10-K on how they wished to market their products around the world. I frankly hadn't given them that sort of respect, I believe that they were to lead toward German acceptance of out cream, but OWCP was still looking for a big name Pharma, like Bayer, Pfizer, etc. to partner on one, or all of it's products. If Mediq is to do it all in Germany, and then spread it throughout Europe, I haven't given them the credit which they deserve.
As things stand, I believe Emilia is currently able to make the cream for use anywhere in the world, provided that laws permit them to ship it there. I believe that's what's behind the company's indication that it's market ready. The real question is, will existing laws permit them to make such shipments, or will they provide the base needed for making the cream, and have the cannabis component added in the Country, or State, where the cream is to be marketed.
I believe that all these questions must be answered in the next 3 to 9 months if the cream is truly to be marketed in this time frame. Perhaps some of the answers will be forthcoming in the next quarterly report due by the middle of next month.
