Me2...lots of research in the institutional & collegiate circles going on with an increasing amount coming from D-Wave & D-Wave/Google JV on the subject. Other commercial entities are also showing a growing interest, like Raytheon, being actively engaged in QD research for Q-putters, bio-imaging, defense lasers, tagging for friendly-fire & enemy ID purposes , as well as counter-measure decoy & cloaking apps.
