X-cellent short history of LWLG complete with all the Luminaries that helped F Goetz's dream project come to a successful conclusion, nothing less than the Nobel Prize is deserved for this achievement!
Folk's, LWLG has had the absolute Top of the Photonics Pyramid directing its development, these guys were the Top Dogs from the behemoth companies and agencies including Dupont, Corning, JDSU, Intel, NSA, etc
The science is way beyond the tipping point now, the finalization of the 25Gbs proto is down to its cheap packaging and final optimization before going out for customer evaluations in late 2017
A device that is tons the best on price/performance metrics, and can scale to Industry needs, it is clearly a slam dunk at this point! Watch for the device(s) to begin to dominate the space in 2018 and beyond!
