Day late and a Dollar Short, So yes as with an
Post# of 871
So yes as with any disruptive technology there was a time that if you shorted this stock it would have worked but timing is super important, follow me now. When Thomas Edison invented the Light Bulb he tried hundreds of variables but once he came across a carbon filament it was too late, that invention was going to succeed (of course there were various iterations) but it was too late to short that stock. "We will make electricity so cheap that only the rich will burn candles."
Well Folks there was a time when the Lightwave Logic (remember it used to give the investors fits), the lab used to send out samples for testing and it took months to get results sometime the results would come back good and sometimes they would come back bad but by that time the lab had pretty much forgotten exactly how that batch was made ( was it humid that day?), etc. One of the founders had a medical issue and the lab was in trouble trying to replace his knowledge, Bim was/is on the board and I’m pretty sure I got this right, he brought in Eaton a founder of DuPont Photonics, he attracted the Senior Vice President of DuPont Polymers. Together with a few others somehow they were able recreate the recipe the bottom line was that if the shorts were hammering it then it would have worked. Anyhow Fasick was able to convince the Senior Vice Presidnet of Corning to join, somewhere along the line Fred Leonberger began vetting this technology, (he is credited with inventing today’s technology). Joe Miller joining the board was another turning point for the company he convinced the board that the company needed to stop relying on outside sources and build a lab in Colorado that could test and act as a feedback loop. That took a few years, if the shorts hat hit them then it would have worked. The lab also created/obtained computer modeling software that would allow them to predict how Chromophores that were made in the lab would perform, this was huge but took time. The lab was also having issues with purity so they reached out the pharmaceutical industry it took time they cleaned up the chromophore, if they had shorted this during that period it would have worked. Remember all along there isn’t really a demand for the product because all along the industry is shrinking the devices putting Electrons closer and closer together, if the shorts had hit LWLG then they would have prevailed. Finally the chromophore was clean but remember it has to be applied and poled. It took many years of the lab spinning it at various rpm’s with different solvent levels, different voltages and different temperatures, if the shorts had hit us then it would have worked. The device side has taken many, many attempts also and if the shorts had hit us then, it would have worked. Remember that Fred Leonberger Godfather of today’s technology was working as a “consultant” in the background advising the board on the direction. If the shorts had hit us then, it would have worked. Then something happened I’d guess that it was either Lebby or Leonberger (and of course the entire team) something clicked or they discovered something, and 2 iterations of modulators are produced exceeding expectations, we still don’t know what but watch for a couple patents. Anyhow Andrew steps aside from the board for Fred Leonberger, Zelibor steps aside for Lebby the stock jumps up, shorts make an attempt but folks it is just like after Edison discovering the correct filament material for the light bulb, It Is too late.
A Day Late and A Dollar Short.
I’m sure that I left out many, Teng, Turpin, Glasgow, the DuPont lab rats etc and I’m sure my recollection of events may be out of order I wrote this in ½ an half an hour, many that are now long here were doubting this and are now long as strong Long Term Shareholders, you know who you are.
Things in life happen for a reason, I’m not sure what this short reason is yet but I’ll bet you dimes to donuts Lightwave will prevail. Over the years I’ve been offered and vetted quite a few businesses, one in particular I remember the sales pitch “and X, guess what it is legal” my response was that anyone that has to end their pitch with that knows that it is not right and IMO this is that same kind of the situation. That being said, they are a day late and a dollar short. They cannot keep shorting and selling forever and as soon as this flips they will have to cover which will drive up the price which will result in a margin call, broker setting the purchases, buying share at the ask, Bing price goes up, Margin call, Bing Buy shares at the Ask, Bing Price goes up, Bing margin call, Bing investors start chasing it, bing price goes up and on and on.
Folks we have crested the hill while the technology “ but there is still much work that needs to be done and many things to be learned” Lightwave material will be in Hundreds if not thousands of devices. Once knowledge of this gets out, which is happening as I post, look out. It is does not occur naturally so the only way to get it is Play Ball with Lightwave. Can you say Partnerships’ out the wazoo.
The world has a problem and is running out of Whale Oil and Lightwave has the solution.
A Cheap Plastic that Controls Light Just as Silicon controls Electricity, is compatible with todays Silicon and InP for the Hybrid Devices of Tomorrow. The Electrons rolling across the Silicon passing to Lightwaves material alter the Lightwave Waves to Imbed 1’s and 0’s. Poof the Enterprise moving to Warp Speed
Our timing for entrance into this market could not be better.

A Day Late and A Dollar Short as My Dad used to say, just thought of him his Birthday would have been Sunday, just brought a tear to my eye, thanks for the wisdom Ol Man, they don’t make them like that anymore. He’s the one that gave me all these corny saying, we called them Dadism’s.
Sorry for the long post.
So Guys the shorts are providing shares that the actual owners of want to hold onto, apparently the shorts think they are more knowledgeable about the market than we are about this technology.
In essence they are providing below market shares to us.
Get em while they are cheap.
End of quarter, no time to proof, excuse the typos.
