I wonder if any of those that attended the conference have approached Lightwave for a meeting. I’d give it an 80% chance. As we heard at the SHM last month Lightwave is not going to chase it, they are going to keep moving forward, they have a solution that is desperately needed and they will come to us. Yes once the 25gig mod is done it will be shipped out to select players. Joe Miller Formerly of Corning, Fred Leonberger former JDSU, Lebby with all of his patents have done this before, they know what they are doing, I don’t think we are rolling the dice anymore it is just a matter of time. (Someone should count up the patents they have between them)
I find this shorts thing fascinating, I hesitated about posting this because I don’t want to sound braggadocios, but a six figure variance in a day honestly doesn’t make the shorts (because they still do not believe in this, their DD was terrible) or honestly me flinch (I can see past it), I literally laughed out loud when I saw a post about being down for 2 days a penny or something, lol. Folks they are out on a limb for a decent amount 1 million to 1.5 we’ll see next week, and when they decide to cover they are going to have to be very, very methodical. If their hand is forced (Like an announcement of interest from say Google/Facebook/Intel etc.) and they need to cover lookout, their hand could also be forced by a move in the market on another position.
This could move 5 Bucks in 1 Day, honestly I don’t think it will happen in the next few weeks but it absolutely could. The Risk Reward Ratio For the Shorts is Totally out of whack. The Longs are simply not going to sell at this stage of the game. They shorted 1 million shares and the price did not show an abnormal movement in fact the charts look great. Now with a 5 Million dollar haircut for them perhaps they could do something like this.
