SuperPAC TV Ad Tells Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District Voters: ‘Stop the Violent Left’

part of the ad

A SuperPAC opposed to Democrat Jon Ossoff announced today that it has made “a five-figure buy” for a TV ad, titled “Stop the Violent Left” that “will play on Fox News on Sunday and Monday ahead of Tuesday’s election” in Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District to replace Rep. Tom Price (R-GA), now the Secretary of Health and Human Services.

“The ad highlights recent acts of violence perpetrated by the left, including anarchic riots, effigial assassination and beheading of the President of the United States, and real-life attempted assassinations of U.S Congressmen,” Principled PAC, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, said in a statement released on Saturday.

Here is the complete transcript of the ad:

Now the unhinged left is endorsing and applauding shooting Republicans.

When will it stop? It won’t if Jon Ossoff wins on Tuesday, because the same unhinged leftists cheering last week’s shooting are all backing Jon Ossoff.

And if he wins. They win.

Stop them. Stop them now. Stop Jon Ossoff. Stop Nancy Pelosi. Vote. Karen Handel for Congress. Vote.

Principled Leadership Project PAC paid for this ad and is solely responsible for its contents.

“The Principled Leadership Project (Principled PAC) identifies and supports principled conservative candidates who will lead the fight to restore constitutionally limited government, free markets, and individual liberty to our republic,” according to the group’s website.

In order to restore the American Dream for future generations, like-minded citizens must be united in support of candidates who will stand up and fight for our founding principles. We believe that in order to change Washington, we must replace the career politicians who only pay lip service to our values with principled conservative leaders who have the backbone to stand up to the Washington elite.

According to Federal Election Commission records, the Principled Leadership Project raised $61,008 in the 2015-2016 election cycle.

Initially considered a “bellwether” test of the Trump administration’s policies, the election to replace former Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) in Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District has now became “one of a kind,” the most expensive Congressional race in American political history in which Jon Ossoff, the Democrat candidate who lives outside the district, has received the vast majority of his campaign funding from out-of-state sources who live in Hollywood, the San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, and New York City.

As of May 31, Ossoff had raised $23 million, compared to the Republican candidate, Karen Handel, who had raised $4.5 million, according to the most recent Federal Election Commission reports.

The most recent poll, which was conducted before Wednesday’s shooting of Republican Congressman Steven Scalise (R-LA) at a practice of the Republican Congressional baseball team in Alexandria, Virginia, give Ossoff a slight three percent advantage over Handel.

The shooting of Scalise, combined with news Thursday that the FBI is investigating the arrival of suspicious packages at Handel’s residence in suburban Atlanta that contained personal threats and an unknown substance, throw a wild card into the outcome of Tuesday’s election.
