You think exactly like me. I have been trading stock for over 55 years and my cardinal rule is sell just just enough to recoup your investment and keep the rest for dividens or for sale another day. When I bought American Airlines for 37 cents and it when to $1.20 I sold 30% of what I bought, regained my entire investment and was left with several thousand FREE shares that soon went to $45. I then sold about half of my free shares and added to my BLTA shares and let the rest sit in my portfolio for other opportunities.
