750MM shares is a well thought out number IMO, not too much or too little.
Having a vote every time they need to use shares is not feasible for the operation of any company. They need a cushion to be able to act when the opportunity arises.
There are many uses for the extra shares to increase share price. Thats the longterm view of them. The short term view only sees dilution because it only sees the now. Companies do not divulge future moves because it negates their competitive advantage. The 750MM gives some freedom to operate but not too much.
