Adirondack these shares returned to the company ,

Adirondack these shares returned to the company , why are they not made available to the pubic at the present PPS and to follow existing share price for sale . Are these shares now part of the companies assets and as such show as a value to the company on the financials. They can now sell at there discretion and then the money goes back into the company is that right or am I out in left field.
