CA Dem: Trump 'Truly an Evil Man' Who Likely Violated His Oath of Office

A Los Angeles-area Congressman tweeted at President Trump on Saturday, calling him an "evil man", and accusing him of likely violating his oath of office.

Congressman Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) was responding to Trump's earlier tweet saying that ObamaCare will be fixed or repealed after it eventually "explodes."

Lieu also appeared to intentionally put quotation marks around the title of "president."

"'President' Donald Trump: You are truly an evil man," Lieu wrote, "Your job is to help Americans. Not intentionally try to destroy their lives."

In a second message, Lieu tweeted that Trump would be violating his oath of office to "faithfully execute' laws by "subverting" the Affordable Care Act.

Earlier this year, Lieu started printing asterisks next to Trump's name in his official press releases, leading to a footnote that reminds readers of his failure to capture the popular vote and of allegations of Russian influence, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Lieu also started a "Cloud of Illegitimacy Clock," which counts the days, hours and minutes that Trump has allegedly been in conflict with a section of the Constitution that governs the likelihood of interference by foreign business interests.

He said at the time that Trump can best comply by fully divesting of his global businesses.

"Trump is not making America first, he's making America second," Lieu said
