Watch Ted Koppel tell Fox News host Sean Hannity that he’s ‘bad for America’
Longtime newsman Ted Koppel took a look at “The Great Divide” in today’s political landscape in a piece aired on “CBS Sunday Morning,” singling out Sean Hannity and explaining to the Fox News host why he think’s he’s “bad for America”:
‘You have attracted people who have determined that ideology is more important than fact.’

Koppel went on to say that “we are stuck in an ideological rut, and programs like yours, popular as they are, haven’t helped.”
Of course, Hannity disagreed with that assessment, saying that “Americans know Sean Hannity is a conservative. There’s no pretense here. Are you against the editorial pages [in the newspaper]?”
Koppel said that, no, he’s not against editorial pages, but that he’s “against the editorial pages taking over from the front page.”
Hannity conceded: “That’s a good response.”
