It's still an open question as to which comes first.

The differences in the quantity of lying as between Clinton and Trump were measureable and it wasn't even a close call.
And no, Obama would not have punched down even it was legal, and assuming he didn't fall down the WH stairs and lose the contents of his Constitutional Law classes lobe.
Pence would be a 'placeholder' who could not possibly successfully defend his defense of a disgraced GOP president
Nor could the wider GOP put a good face on the 'Trump Era' and on their complicity in it.

Possible treason for potential links to Russia. Lying to the American people about spying on him the night before the election, the Emoluments clause. It's all going to come to a head, IMO.
I have no idea who would take his place, but this guy has made a total mockery of the White House.
