West: tiny Snoop Dogg Should Be Investigated for Trump Mock Assassination Video
Rapper Snoop Dogg has created a firestorm of controversy with his new music video, which depicts a mock assassination of a clown representing President Donald Trump.
In Snoop's latest music video for his track "Lavender (Nightfall Remix)," he points a toy gun at a Trump parody named "Ronald Klump."
He pulls the trigger and a "bang" sign unfurls from the barrel of the gun.
In an interview with Billboard, Snoop claimed that "nobody’s dealing with the real issue with this f***ing clown as president."
Many people have spoken out against the video, including Lt. Col. Allen West (Ret.).
West said on "Fox and Friends" this morning that the mock assassination was "disgusting."
"When is this going to end, this type of reaction, this violent, this vitriolic reaction to the election?" West wondered.
He said that the reaction would be totally different if a video like this were made eight years ago featuring a likeness of President Obama.
"The media, everyone would be outraged," West said.
He added that Snoop Dogg is possibly in violating of U.S. code by portraying a mock assassination of the president, and he should be held accountable for his actions.
"The Secret Service should investigate this. They should look into it, because it is a violation."
