What's worse is oil prices vary directly with diesel prices,both which vary directly with scrap plastic prices. Plastic scrap prices are around half of what they were when oil was at $100/bbl. If PTOI can't make money and one price, they won't be able to make money at any price. Free plastic feedstock is a myth and even PTOI was purchasing plastic scrap. The prices say it's physically impossible to make money melting plastic into fuel...and so far PTOI hasn't given any reason to think otherwise.
