"Thermador Groupe confirms the acquisition of Domac"
After three months of exclusive negotiations, the company Mecafer, a subsidiary of Thermador Groupe, has acquired for an amount of €710,000 all the shares of the company Domac with his founder Mr Le Ponner.
Mr Le Ponner integrates the management team to implement the operational synergies which this link is going to cause and to contribute to the business development of the new set. Apart extending our referencing into French DIY outlets and hypermarkets, specialists consumer automobile and food hypermarkets, this acquisition will enable an extension of the offer products and of marks and will bring to the customers a widened and long-lasting range of services.
During the course of the year, after-sales services and logistics of Mecafer and Domac will be reorganized around the 2 sites of Valence and Vierzon to improve the processing time of the customers' requests and to optimize the logistics costs bound to the transport of the materials such as the compressors of air, generators and welding units.
To respect the agreements with their respective customers, both legal entities Mecafer and Domac will be kept in 2017. The accounts will be consolidated from March 1 st , 2017.
Domac, founded in 1999, reported turnover closed to €7m in 2016.
