BIMobject AB ("BIMobject") announces today that new user registrations such as architects, engineers, specifiers, construction companies and designers have increased with 200% in the period followed by the transfer of Seek. From January 18th 2017, the day Seek was transferred to BIMobject, until today February 9th 2017, the number of new registered users has increased exponentially. For the time period above, more than 36 000 professional users have registered on the BIMobject Cloud. BIMobject Cloud, prior to Seek, received an average of 12 000 new registered users every month.
According to the board, the increase of new users is due to; the result of the transaction of Autodesk® Seeks operation to BIMobject. It is now possible to reach the BIMobject Cloud from the search bar inside every Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD and also from the redirection of the domain seek.autodesk.com to bimobject.com.
The number of BIM object downloads has also increased by more than 200% since the transfer of Seek and the daily average is now exceeding 30 000 downloads. This will contribute to an increase in growth of the BIMobject Cloud and will according to the board; increase the number of business transactions and new potential clients for the building product manufacturer who have their products on the Cloud.
BIMobject now has more than 300 000 professional users from all over the world that has access to more than 243 000 BIM-files. Taking into account the objects parametric variations they represents more than 16 million articles from more than 900 well-known brands. Total number of downloads exceed 8 million.
