Someone is sitting back and accumulating 1,000,000 shares from any and all sellers willing to let them go for 2.8 cents. I have a theory. This is my own personal opinion, so take it with a grain of salt if you like. I believe AMBS is shopping MANF to suitors with the money to advance it. But remember, JC discovered MANF, so I guarantee you there is absolutely no way John and Gerald are going to sell all the IP off. It could go on to become a major breakthrough in neurology and you think they are going to sell it off now for pennies? No way. I think MAGNA is giving AMBS time to work with the investment bank they hired in October 2016 to either sell off outright or partner the non-core assets (ESS, Elto, maybe even the diagnostic interest now in ADVX) but keeping some stake in MANF
is a must. I am sure pharmas look at AMBS and would like to acquire MANF outright, but it won't happen. What I think will happen is AMBS will eventually get offers from multiple suitors on MANF and, since AMBS is unwilling to sell it off outright, AMBS will eventually negotiate some sort of reduced stake/rights in it's development. Based on the research continuing to come out on MANF in Parkinson's, retinal pigmentosa, and diabetes (btw...Wolfram topline results due April 2017), I think AMBS still has an excellent chance at a comeback. But like Trump says, you gotta be patient and make the best deal
