Chris Mueller joins as Podium Data’s Vice President of Sales, after leading high-performance sales teams at Netezza and MicroStrategy. John Felahi joins Podium Data as Vice President of Product Management, having recently served in strategic product management and planning leadership roles at Content Analyst Company and Microsoft.
Both executives join Podium Data’s management team following the company’s recent $9.5 million investment round, enabling the company to rapidly scale to meet fast-growing market demand.
Chris Mueller brings more than 20 years of software and technology sales leadership to Podium Data. His experience with growth-stage technology companies in the big data, analytics, cloud native platform, and enterprise data management markets extends back to 2005 as a sales leader at Netezza, Teradata, and MicroStrategy. At Netezza, Mueller built and led the company’s communications sector sales team, growing that business to more than $50 million over three years and contributing significantly to the company’s IPO and ultimate $1.7 billion acquisition by IBM.

He also served as Vice President of Product Management at FAST Search & Transfer, an industry leader in enterprise search, where he helped build the business to $180 million in five years and position the company for acquisition by Microsoft in 2008.
