THE FIGHT FOR FLIGHT

Dear Fellow Investors,
I am not one to typically post on message boards or public forums and truth be told, seldom visit them in the first place. However, I do have colleagues who participate in these ongoing discussions, some of whom have shared with me their various exchanges with other contributors. As someone who has been involved with several businesses in the past, as both an executive and investor, I was profoundly shocked to see such volatile responses from shareholders to actions taken by management as well as misconceptions of certain strategic moves.
I have invested significantly in this airline, as I know many of you have. I fully understand the flux of emotions, which can be conjured up when one is financially involved with an entity it has limited control over, if any. What I hope to do is share some of my insights on business as well as my understanding of this particular endeavor, as over the years I have gravitated towards it more and more, becoming increasingly eager by the day to see its success.
It is important to note that over the years I have had my profound disagreements with the management of this airline and was not surprised the least bit to see it realized my expectations up until a few months ago. Changes in management in many organizations happen often, yet it is rare that a fundamental change in approach and perspective is implemented efficiently and effectively. Although only two months in, I have been very happy with what the latest management team has been able to accomplish and for the first time in a long time am extremely optimistic for what the future holds.
After some thought, I have decided to compile all of the information I have on this operation as well as research more information to put together an unbiased assessment of this airline. If any of the management does happen to come across it, I hope they may find praise for their correct decisions and constructive criticism for their mishaps, from all of us as they fight for flight.
For nothing more than personal beliefs, I wish to remain anonymous. As a community I welcome any and all positive and constructive feedback. Our interests are all aligned, and it is our job to play our part in the success of this airline.
