I always thought the Jerky would be a big seller, bigger then the shot, and it looks as if Veal indicated such. It is a much more common meal/snack, a quick impulse buy and commonly accepted as compared to the shot. Popular as it is, the cultural norms and acceptance Veal was talking about, and difficulties with big chains accepting it, was a challenge for dealers and the shot. Not so much for jerky. Quite the opposite, big chains like Wawa and 7-11 sell it off the shelves.
I don't think the product has anything to do with past misdeeds or toxic loans. That is something the court systems will have to deal with and we all know that the wheels of justice turn slow. I will stick with 18 or beyond as HJOE themselves have called this a marathon many times.
KBM is still the main domino that needs to fall to see how quickly any other hidden players, if any, come to the table. If KBM is a big win for HJOE, I believe things will fast track earlier, perhaps mid 17. Still a long haul and hurdles to get over and I'm under no allusions that this will come back yet. Miles to run still in this marathon.
