What you need to know:
This market notice contains important information on updates to the previously announced timeline for the activation of a new circuit breaker mechanism on the Nordic equity derivatives market.
OnNovember 28, 2016 the circuit breaker mechanism was activated for OMXS30 index derivatives but was inactivated two days later due to technical reasons. The mechanism will be re-activated in connection with the next Genium INET upgrade scheduled to go-live on February 20, 2017.
The activation of the circuit breaker mechanism for single stock derivatives, originally scheduled to take place between December 12, 2016 and January 30, 2017, has been postponed and will be activated gradually for sub-sets of products starting February 20, 2017.
A detailed timeline with the relevant activation dates will be communicated in a separate exchange notice at a later stage.
