Oilfield,
I am as frustrated by the time that we've wasted as anyone here. I'll just tell ya that I take this approach with things on my honey do list. I figure my pay rate for my day job, and if I can save money by doing something on that list based upon my rate of pay, then I'll do it myself. When it comes to plumbing (which I seriously suck at) I will generally just shell out the money to pay someone to fix the problem, as it will take me hours to fix many of the basic plumbing problems that crop up, and as an added bonus, my wife has someone else to blame if there is a problem. My point is that the work I do I am competent at, and get paid well cause I can fix problems related to it quickly. Treaty should identify potential leases that they can re-work, or drill and get TNC or some other competent company to do the work that Treaty is not so good at for them.
