Here is some more food for thought (pun intended): Pigs are smarter than dogs. We treat pigs in a manner that if someone did the same to our dogs we would likely pull out a gun and shoot them....the people, not the dogs.

I still eat pork, but I have been trying to focus on using my buying power with producers that at least treat the animals humanly in life and during slaughter. It is the least we can do as the apex animals on the planet.
