RiceBran Technologies and Prozyn BioSolutions Announce Distribution Agreement for South America

RiceBran Technologies Under the terms of the Distribution and Supply Agreement entered into on December 11, 2012, RiceBran Technologies will produce stabilized rice bran (SRB) and rice bran derivatives for non-exclusive distribution by Prozyn under the RiceBran Technologies brand into the human food ingredient market in South America. In addition, RiceBran Technologies and Prozyn will cooperate to develop new technical applications and sales for other rice bran-based products. Under the terms of the agreement, Prozyn may also develop novel value-added formulations using RiceBran Technologies ingredients for distribution and sale under the Prozyn brand with provisions for co-branding with the RiceBran Technologies logo. W. John Short, Chief Executive Officer Jadyr Oliveira, Founder and Managing Director of Prozyn, stated, "We are excited to begin distributing RiceBran Technologies' products in South America. We have observed the benefits of incorporating RiceBran Technologies' rice bran products into various food applications including baked goods and meat products.
