Stocks to watch Monday: Clearwire, Akamai
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — Among the companies expected to see active trade in the U.S. stock market Monday are Clearwire Corp., Akamai Technologies Inc. and Diamond Foods Inc.
Shares of Clearwire (NASDAQ:CLWR) shed more than 8% in the premarket, as the company’s board agreed to a buyout price of $2.97 each. They had finished Friday’s session at $3.37. Sprint Nextel Corp. (NYSE:S) and Bellevue, Wash.-based Clearwire pegged the enterprise value of the deal at about $10 billion.
Diamond Foods (NASDAQ
MND) is expected to release results for the first quarter of fiscal 2013. Earnings are pegged at 23 cents a share on revenue of $274.4 million, according to the consensus of analysts surveyed by FactSet. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/stocks-to-wa...atest_news
