Working with Native Americans has its nuances, add to the fact it's also sovereign land and that's adds more difficulty.
This land is not owned but a single party but the heirs going back over 100 years.
Currently, the family is about 64 living members that hold this land.
Another major hurtle is you must deal with the tribal council and State employees.
After the original letter of intent was issued all of these needed addressing and hence enters Robert Smith who was very instrumental in navigating/facilitating an agreement that all parties had to agree to.
The work involved was enormous where Jerry and Robert worked together with all parties to pull off a very complex deal.
