I personally don't think it's a scam either. But

I agree completely that all of the SM postings are great news, as it shows activity and sales. Those postings do a lot to keep me motivated, intrigued and connected. But at the same time, it doesn't give us meaningful insight into volumes and total revenues. So on their own, they don't give us information that allows for highly meaningful analysis, modeling or projections. That could give someone pause, understandably.
Management reaffirms that they are going to file, which is wonderful to hear. But at the same time, they have been saying that for a while. Each time there appears to be a very valid reason for the delay -- but it continues to be a series of delays, nonetheless. And obviously, the longer they go without filing, the higher the risk of the regulators weighing in on the matter.
Is this company absolutely killing it, but curtailed temporarily in it's ability to tell us about the big success? Or are they trying to put their best foot forward every day while they try to execute the plan that should bring stunning success? I think this is a real company with a real product. But what is the true financial health and forecast for the company?
There are lots of examples, over the past couple of years, where one can look at a set of facts with a very positive light, or a skeptical and concerning view. That broad swath of gray is what causes the difficulty and frustration (and as an aside, that gray area should be able to be openly discussed).
