TAP Portugal Announces New Low Fares to Europe for Fall and Winter which include a Complimentary Stopover in Lisbon or Porto (or Both)

NEW YORK, Sept. 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TAP Portugal’s Stopover program allows U.S travelers to Europe to include a visit to Portugal on the way for no additional airfare.  TAP serves 45 European destinations from the US, via Lisbon, at fares starting from just $499 roundtrip.

Travelers can stay up to three nights on their stopover in Lisbon and even add a free domestic flight to Porto also.

TAP serves Lisbon with daily flights from New York’s JFK, Newark, Boston and Miami, as well as nonstop to Porto twice weekly from Newark.  The Stopover program is available on all flights and all routes.

“People always tell me that they want to visit Portugal,” said David Neeleman, partner in Atlantic Gateway, shareholders in TAP. “With TAP’s Stopover program, we’re making that visit much easier – and free!  Lisbon and Porto are the natural gateways to Europe and are a wonderful way to break up your travel.”

TAP has several airfare sales on currently which all include up to three days stopover in Lisbon and/or Porto at no extra cost.

For travel between November 1 and December 14, travelers may couple a visit to Portugal with their trip to Paris or London, from $499 or $508 roundtrip, respectively.  This fare is for sale through September 30.
