A new national poll found that Colin Kaepernick is the most disliked player in the NFL.
The poll, which was conducted by E-Poll Marketing Research, showed that the controversial San Francisco 49ers quarterback was "disliked a lot" by 29 percent of those polled.
However, the poll also showed that Kaepernick has a record-high popularity among African-Americans, 42 percent of whom like him "a lot."
The survey included 1,100 Americans, whose "demographics were representative of the general population," according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.
Kaepernick has been in the headlines in recent weeks for kneeling during the national anthem before games to draw attention to police treatment of African-Americans.
The next "most disliked" NFL players, out of more than 350 in the poll, are Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston (22 percent), Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (21 percent), Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (13 percent) and Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (10 percent).
