No disrespect, as I'm sure you've already thought

No disrespect, as I'm sure you've already thought of this but when CTIX exits, I'd recommend starting a PE fund and go to the companies directly.
Don't fall into the trap of thinking like retail investors do. Once you have money, the rules change. The best way to mitigate risk and still participate in the upside would be to do a private placement directly with firms you're interested in. Plus you could request board participation and other perks...
"You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling." PS - if you can name the quote and I'll buy you and your significant other a round on the private island I plan on buying with my CTIX profits
