Pickens Plans to Support Trump Financially Before Election
BP Capital founder T. Boone Pickens says he plans to support GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump financially before Nov. election but hasn’t yet given him any money.
"I have no fear of supporting Trump. I have been for him from the outset," Pickens says in interview. "He was the only one who was going to change anything" among Republicans who ran for president
"Now, you may not like the change you get, but you’re getting ready to have change. And I’m a change advocate."
"I’m looking forward to the change"
Says Republicans "will all be there" by Election Day
"I think Bush and the rest of them, they have to come in. You can’t be a Republican and turn down the nominee"
"There’s no way - no way - that you can just by your inaction" allow Clinton to win, he says
"The United States can’t take Hillary. Eight years of Obama and then Hillary? It’d be a disaster"
Energy "non-issue" in election because of cheap gasoline
