Thanks for the post!
On a positive note it does have strong resistance at these levels. I'm praying to baby Jesus it holds.
people are getting better..the Royal Flush is still very much in play with Mono-therapy..other IND's..Don't let emotion of lower price affect reality. Just like you din't let higher price..
..trading stocks..nothing wrong with it..investing is an art..
you can't make shrot cabal stop being wicked..even if is about treating Alzheimers..some people just don't give a rat's petutie about other human beings..
Unabel to shirk Short Cabal ..a Parnership was always more likely anyway.
One might think BP shares the cost/investment in such organizations for just this reason..
I think IP summed it up fairly well . Hopefully this is the final edit we'll see to the claims on this one. Notice of Allowance soon? Maybe? Hopefully?
Apologies for the brevity.
Aw c'mon, got enough mod work here as it is, don't ask for it, LOL!
very well written and explained post..
the Lincoln Park Financing has some anti-dilutive protections..including a price limit I believe of $3, but it could have been as much as $4 per share that Anavex would not be able to raise Capital below this Share Price..Until it went over again..
So the Partnership is looking more likely..and the BS Short Cabal by driving down the share price has made self funding less likely, in that by driving down the share price a Partnership becomes more likely..probably one of the the main goals of Short Cabal..whoever that is....
Not the good Dr's fault..just many many forces aligned against..
On a side bar note ..the good Dr. took Stock Options in the $6-7 range..
he may know a little more than IR..
Positive news not far away..The Reward still far outweighs the risk,,
Hard to BBBillions ..but I SAY IT GUSTO! BBillIONS! ACCUMULATE!
Like a Police song..
Every Chance I get, Every check I make..I will Accumulate..Anavex!
First post I have seen from you but a good one at that
In the current Anavex 2-73 trial the MMSE scores went up significantly for subjects taking Anavex 2-73 alone without donepezil at 31 weeks.
http://www.anavex.com/wp-content/uploads/2016..._Final.pdf
Could it be that Anavex 2-73 is a full agonist but donepezil is just a partial agonist or a competitive agonist for the sigma 1 receptor?
Could the presence of donepezil be counterproductive to the full effect of Anavex 2-73 as a full agonist?
Could it also be that the subjects taking Anavex 2-73 alone as a single agent without donepezil be at an earlier stage of Alzheimer's disease?
TauRx also seems to work much better as a monotherapy without donepezil http://www.fiercebiotech.com/biotech/taurx-mi...hiii-trial
Full Agonists: Compounds that are able to elicit a maximal response following receptor occupation and activation.
Partial Agonists: Compounds that can activate receptors but are unable to elicit the maximal response of the receptor system.
Inverse agonist: an agent which binds to the same receptor binding-site as an agonist for that receptor and reverses constitutive activity of receptors. Inverse agonists exert the opposite pharmacological effect of a receptor agonist.
Competitive and Irreversible Pharmacologic Antagonists
Competitive antagonists are drugs that bind to the receptor in a reversible way without activating the effector system for that receptor. In the presence of a competitive antagonist, the log dose-response curve is shifted to higher doses (ie, horizontally to the right on the dose axis) but the same maximal effect is reached (Figure 2-5A).
In contrast, an irreversible antagonist causes a downward shift of the maximum, with no shift of the curve on the dose axis unless spare receptors are present (Figure 2-5B). The effects of competitive antagonists can be overcome by adding more agonist. Irreversible antagonists cannot be overcome by adding more agonist. Competitive antagonists increase the ED50; irreversible antagonists do not (unless spare receptors are present).

Good luck and GOD bless,

I want to confirm what I double checked after reading your post about $3.15 as support "4th time the charm?" To be precise, we did bounce off of 3.16 as an intra-day low on November 17th, 2015, closing that day at 3.24. The very next day we closed at $5.30 and ten sessions later we closed at 6.41! Investors who scooped up shares at the close on November 17th and sold at the high 10 days later got a 97.8% return on their money.
Now, on January 20th, 2016 our intra-day low was 3.29 as the lowest intra-day low of the month, with a closing price that day of 3.58. Ten days later we closed at 4.45. Investors who scooped up shares at the close on January 20th and sold at the high 10 days later got a 30.7% return on their money.
February's lowest intra-day low occurred on February 11th, at 3.30. That day we closed at 3.62. Ten days later we closed at $4.44. Investors who scooped up shares at the close on February 11th and sold at the high 10 days later got a 22.65% return on their money.
In conclusion, today we touched 3.24 as the intra-day low. We closed today at 3.37. I am expecting an up day tomorrow, so be prepared. Investors who bought shares at the close today could get similar returns by holding for recovery of the share price in a matter of a couple weeks. The average return in the three examples above was a 50.45% return in two weeks time. Good luck longs, may the shorts die in Hell.
Rocalinda, Thanks a lot. The info is very crucial to all the investors. Perhaps they should have a conference call.
You are welcome! Thanks to all who objectively contribute to help us all make informed decisions.
Your thoughtful discussion with the IR person is very enlighten. For most of us, it solidifies our faith and the responses deems that this guy is not blowing smoke.
Thank you!
You definitely need to take care of Brett...he can be annoying.
Thanks for that important info. I too believe Brett Syndrome could be A-273's ticket to earlier revenue. Of course the Phase-2 trial would have to happen, and also good results to follow, but still very promising. Also like the Parkinson's news not too far off. Anavex is not a 1-trick pony, and it will be realized in the days and months ahead. ANAVEX has very important possibilities in their pipeline. Much to be hopeful for. Stay long and strong!!!!
improvement!
Rocalinda:
Many thanks! Great update and summary.
No I don't. Volume here is that of people both retail and otherwise selling
This stock.
Gotcha, thanks for the update and clarification.
