If anything that should be disclosed (8-K) exists we have to (?) see it tomorrow (based on the timing of run-up). W/o this event: will it close below or above $3.50 ...?

"Does the fact that the pps sliced up through 2.86 mean that a potential 118 million in shares were grabbed via an exchange."
No there would be a conversion of $2.60 which would be about 45mil ADR's (shares )...Even though HDG suggests they could be exchanged at any time, I am not sure that is true..Besides the price having to be above $2.86 the notes are callable by the company at its own discretion: the notes are exchangeable by the holders only during certain time periods..I do not remember the exact details of the May 2014 change in the agreement, but basically I believe it was done to prevent the company from having to pay the notes off before 2019...
And yes these additional exchange notes could be shorted as a hedge.

Who to sacrifice in FF's volcano ? Well I'm sure this board isn't short of ideas ..:>

Thank you
Tas your questions are valid
I believe Gabor , followed by JL has done the most research on patent protection .
Suggest you review their posts

Well you know what happened with AZN's Epanova, right?
I don't. Is it too much to ask for you to just tell me?
R-IT looks doomed to me though. In principle over model.
I like your "bad medicine" call better than your modeling call.
I read the LDL P article you were referencing. It's hardly the established medical opinion on the topic, but it could be correct.
We'll find out soon enough.
CBB Well I'll defend Salmon
1) Eat Salmon instead of steak ---2 days a week . Its better for you
2) If 100 million diabetics in China want Vascepa ...oy ! Better buy a life supply now and refrigerate it
3) If Vascepa is covered by Insurance ...ah yes but if millions want it ...a little economics lesson here ...supply and demand ....If demand out strips supply then cost to your insurance provider will go up ...who will then raise your deductible
But wait ...have no fear ...you own the stock ... you will be super rich anyway ....:>

Wow, the cannibalism here is fascinating.
No models here, none needed. They're of tertiary use anyway, but not to be completely dismissed.
And yes I have told you of a successful modeling attempt with the NAPOLI-1 study. It happens. The range included failure but leaned towards success. The marginal improvement was not deemed very meaningful, but still was a nice profit.
R-IT looks doomed to me though. In principle over model.

I'd suggest you read up on the 40 plus patents then..most on this board did this 3 years ago.
Wow, everyone here is a patent attorney. What a bizarre coincidence. Maybe that's why everyone invested in this -- they're patent attorneys and knew the patents were enforceable.
Let's just get a little sane here just for a sec. If it were THAT clear that the patents were enforceable, then NOBODY would have given a crap about the NCE ruling. But that was clearly a big deal. Because the 5 years + 30 months is IRONCLAD, while the patent tail is NOT IRONCLAD. It's attackable, and everyone knows it.
Any layman here who "read the 40 patents" and didn't get input from a patent attorney has basically NO data on the enforceability of the patents. This is so obvious I'm embarrassed to type it.
I guess I should have figured this was just one more cheerleader board where you're not allowed to ask real questions.
Yeah, I know. My post was intended to be a LMAO at the "skeptic's" post you were responding to.

The question was about enforceability.
Shortly: AZN did not try to invalidate the patents ... they requested dismiss of the case ... and will launch Epanova immediately after ANCHOR's SPA reinstatement due to BB's request.

PY - I assume that you know how much wild salmon you need to get 4g of EPA. I also assume that you know how much wild salmon costs.
Also, why won't you aknowledge your Seeking Alpha writings?
I'd suggest you read up on the 40 plus patents then..most on this board did this 3 years ago. Good luck.

1.) ARR (& Jupiter): You claimed that FDA cares ARR only (and not RRR). Meanwhile FDA mentioned ARR (as a lot of other things also) they did not refer to it as a "key". Furthermore, you did not (could not) cite anything for p-value of ARR.
btw: Did you realize that all studies (cited by you) refer to RRR and not to ARR ...?
2.) unmet medical need: "available therapy for this indication (statins)" - Are you serious? Is the therapy for "add-on to statin" statin? For clarity: the indication is "add-on to statin"
3.) Both Vascepa and Epanova trials proved that effect on lipids are dose dependent. Hopefully you do not think that it is for lipids, but not for CVE ...
4.) "wild salmon 3x a week > 4g Vascepa/ day" - Did you ever compare the EPA intake and the cost ... ?

1A is about free speech (opinion), but it should be truthful and non-misleading (factual). Of course, you could say sky is green and the grass is blue (as you do), but it won't be a valid opinion.
