Dr. John Chevigny receivied his doctorate from the professional college at Southern California University of Health Sciences, and Dijana Novak graduated from Bastyr University with additional certifications in Chinese Herbal Medicine and Nutrition and Exercise Science. The team is looking forward to the additions and employing their expertise to better serve the needs of patients.
Dr. John Chevigny was introduced to chiropractic care when seeking help for his own sports-related injuries and has worked with a range of athletes from those at the high school level to professional players. He uses adjustments, soft tissue work, percussion work, exercise, physiotherapy modalities and Kinesio tape to expedite recovery time and get players back to the game safely. He has worked in the athletic department at Cal State Northridge, the medical support team at the CrossFit Games, and for the Seattle Reign.
Dijana Novak L.Ac, EAMP graduated from Bastyr University with a MA in Acupuncture, and received post-graduate Certification in Chinese Herbal Medicine and a BA in Nutrition and Exercise Science. She has a license from the Washington State Department of Health as an East Asian Medicine Practitioner (EAMP), in addition to board certification from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) to practice acupuncture, herbal medicine and Western medical pathology. Her approach uses techniques including acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, diet analysis and Qi Gong.
