NEW YORK and MONTREAL, May 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - Identascan Corporation and partner- ICBS Ltd., (OTCPK: $ICBT ), announced that it has approached government security agency's for which the program was initially designed.
Identascan Corporation headed by Dr. Li Liu who is in the process of developing a computer program that will allow the identification of individuals by their body movements. "Each individual's body movement is as personal as their fingerprint", said Identascan's President Dr. Li Liu.
IDENTASCAN is the systematic study of, body locomotion and mechanics more specific study of distinct human motion, that is unique to every individual.
Using our unique software as observers, augmented by Micro vision and the Introduction and analysis of measurable parameters for body movements, IDENTASCAN is used to assess, and identify specific individuals whether in a crowd or singularly. Human identification technologies for surveillance and security systems, which combine advantages of biometrics (face recognition, gait recognition) and human motion analysis (motion analysis of human body parts, human motion tracking) to recognize a person in a crowd or singularly.
IDENTASCAN surveillance systems to identify individuals at a distance in security-sensitive environments such as banks and airports. Develop and evaluate algorithms for face recognition over image sequences, gait recognition, human movement tracking, and human pose and motion analysis.
Dr.Liu holds Post-doctoral Fellowships in Bioresource Engineering , Mathematics, a Ph D. in Computer Science, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science.
Identascan's program will allow surveillance in such places as airports and crowded walkways to identify an individual in a crowd even if only 40% of their body mass is visible. The program which also incorporates Artificial Intelligence along with proprietary identification and scanning technologies.
