I do think they've been covering, yesterday especially. Those big volume spikes (almost 30k shares in one case) followed by long periods of NO trades. Also some of us noticed some screwy things happening which I will not detail since we know that THEY are reading this board (based on responses posted elsewhere to things written here). I disagree with AlanC on the issue of whether the shorts have covered some.

But, I also don't think they are scared -- because they have their tame market maker doing their dirty work for them. daydreaming2 has documented this well. They OUGHT to be bloody scared though, because the news bomb could be dropped on them any time.

I hope that there is a pre-market or post-market hours release that leaves a significant number of shorts uncovered. If so, there will be the mother of all short squeezes.
