Second, I would like to know if those people are mainlining the Kool Aid or if they're snorting the Kool Aid powder dry.
One good thing is that over time I've been less and less inclined to look for what makes people rationalize their investment in these scam stocks. For the longest time, I've wondered why PTOI victims keep believing no matter how many times the company lies to them, cooks the books and gets charged with fraud by regulatory agencies. I think many of the illogical posts from the believers have helped me understand...there really is no logic and it's a bit futile to try to understand. They buy the stock and talk it up and treat any skepticism as the enemy. They blame everyone for the stock price except for the company and they convince other longs that the invisible enemy is there to shake out their shares. This is why scam stocks thrive and why swindlers race to start new scams.
When you remaining investors figure out that PTOI isn't going to pan out and start searching for the next penny stock, keep in mind that a company with a real, valuable technology will bend over backwards to prove to the world that the technology is commercially viable. When a company doesn't make any attempt or is vague and ambiguous...you have yourself a bonafide scam stock.
Maybe Mr. Heddle simply doesn't realize that making the supposedly amazing results public would make customers come rushing and investors start throwing money again. However when I suggest that people e-mail and ask about how well the process actually produces value...I get silence or I get the answer that time will tell.
