I tacked the response I made earlier about the advantage of the beet sugar over high fructose sweeteners used in most sweet treats. I just wanted to help some understand that this was what Jerry said, not that it was "totally good for people". He's well aware that it's not good to consume too much sucrose, but the beet sugar is WAY better than high fructose sweeteners since they lead to diabetes. I love stevia personally, and it's even been shown to help lower blood pressure. I hope they use it more in the future. I do realize that replacing sugar with stevia takes some of the sucrose energy out, but it allows people the choice and that's great. It's especially nice in the non-energy drinks since they're not intended to provide a major energy boost in the first place. It's definitely healthier.
